One of two grand beachfront villas, Baan Hinyai is an exclusive, contemporary holiday retreat. Together with her sister villa Baan Hinta, these newly completed private residences have set new standards for for architecture and interior creativity on Koh Samui. The Villa
On entering the villa, the first thing that strikes you is its generous size. The stylish, spacious split-level, living and dining area opens onto breathtaking tropical views and a drastic infinity-edge pool. An open-plan western kitchen is equipped with LG and Siemens fridges, a fitted oven, microwave, gas hobs and a full range of modern appliances.
A huge wooden dining table seats up to 20 people, whilst the nearby pool-side sala is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. Back in the main living area, two oversized sofas sit either side of a sleek wooden table with a flat screen TV (satellite channels) and DVD unit poised for evening entertainment.
The villa features five bedrooms all of which have TVs, feature king size beds and boast sea views, as well as dramatic en-suite bathrooms. The bathrooms feature free standing bath tubs and separate shower cubicles, plus his and hers washbasins. Generous sized wardrobes with gowns and slippers supply 5-Star comfort.
For watersports lovers with a sense of adventure, staying at one of the two expansive, luxury beachfront villas of either Baan Hinta/Hinyai offers a unique opportunity not only to enjoy a memorable beachside vacation, but also to try out the very latest in hi-tech marine toys. The villa comes with a choice of watersports equipment, including a Sea Kayak and paddle board (see Facilities list)

Staying at Baan Hinyai
Baan Hinyai is a supremely stylish and elegant holiday pad. The location feels totally private and you can drift easily between the various living, dining, and relaxation spaces without ever disconnecting from the amazing coastal views. Baan Hinyai sits on the picturesque south eastern coast of Koh Samui, 25 minutes drive from the international airport and10 minutes from the bustling tourist town of Lamai. The villa is within walking distance of several resorts, restaurants, shops and spas and also close to Samui's famous Hinta/Hinyai tourist site from which it takes its name.

Myself, wife and 3 friends recently spent 9 amazing nights at Baan Hinyai. the villa is absolutely beautiful, the infinity pool sensational but above all the wonderful staff could not do enough for us. from 6am to 8pm they were there to fulfil our every wish. the in-house Chef created fantastic Thai meals every day..each day he would ask us for our menu and we selected dishes from some of the best restaurants in Thailand...our Chef didn't disappoint us, preparing meals equal to the best we have had in many trips to Thailand. the location was superb, all of the grounds and rooms were spotless and we had the most relaxing holiday ever. I highly recommend Baan Hinyai to any group who want to kick back, relax and be treated like Kings! From Australia
An awesome experience that surpassed every expectation. What a way to celebrate a special birthday with family and friends. Our every need was accommodated by the generous and hospitable team of welcoming staff. Now the chef requires special mention because feeding a couple of renowned Australian chefs is no easy feat. Our talented chef stunned us with his expertise and attention to detail - we weren't expecting this standard after dining at David Thompson's restaurant Nham in Bangkok prior to arriving at the Baan Hinyai. We joined the house manager and chef on a visit to the local fish market and carefully planned our days dishes where the chef was able to showcase his capabilities in regional Thai cuisine. The market trip was one of many highlights we experienced whilst at the villa. The house manager and team of staff went beyond the call of duty to ensure my birthday was beyond anything I imagined. Private fireworks on the beach and the launching of sky lanterns delivered fond memories I will remember for my lifetime. Thanks Jee & Ole
The staff were amazing and really made such a difference to the holiday nothing was a problem and they were polite friendly and very welcoming.
Our family of 6 adults and a baby stayed here in October. Our first impression was "wow" and the same as we left. The villa has everything you need and the staff make it perfect. Food cooked by a personal chef is so good, we ate in every day and night. Like a 5 star hotel only better. Jee is the manager and takes care of your every need. There was never a moment during our stay that we needed to ask, it was all taken care of. All the staff at this villa become like family instantly. We all wished we had booked a further week and did not wish to leave. The pool and rooms are beautiful and well equiped. Loved the rain showers in the rooms. We stayed at Ban HinYai for 8 days at the peak of summer time, everything was fantastic, food, staff, make this place very special for holidaying with friend & family. The only concern is the living area needs the air conditioning because it was very hot and uncomfortable to sit & enjoy, also in the main bedrooms' air conditioning kept turning off during the day & some nights, we suggest you should consider getting a generator to get the power going instead of save the power for the night time only. This is our first vacation with our twins and we couldn't have picked a better place than this villa!! We and our friends (and their babies) had a fantastic Christmas holiday here. The babies had many first discovery on the beach and in the swimming pool…. Found memories that we will keep dear to our hearts for life.
