Bacaya is a gem of a villa right on the beach with breathtaking sea views of the golden Big Buddha and Koh Phan Ngan. It’s conveniently located in the centre of Bang Rak and yet tucked away in tranquil privacy behind its own enclosure. The rear of the villa contains a terrace, garden and private infinity pool that overlooks Big Buddha Beach.
As you enter the light and airy main living space, you are struck by the stunning views straight out across the water to neighbouring Koh Phan Ngan. Simple but elegant, the open plan living/dining area has been thoughtfully designed to keep it cool, with a total of six sets of French windows flanking both lengths of the room, and a high wooden ceiling that keeps the air flowing; ably assisted by ceiling fans. The furniture is solid wood, the style minimalist but comfortable with furnishings in soft warm colours.
The lounge section has a three-seater sofa and two armchairs plus a large flat-screen TV. The dining table seats six. At one end of this central living area is a fully-fitted modern kitchen which is separated from the rest of the room by a smart breakfast bar. Kitchen facilities include a large double fridge/freezer, an electric hob, double sink and microwave (guests should note there is no separate oven).
The master bedroom is positioned at the rear of the villa with prime ocean views. The en-suite bathroom leads from a walk-in shower to an outdoor sunken bath that is completely enclosed and private. It also enjoys its own mini lounge area with TV.
The second bedroom is also en-suite and has its own private terrace with small garden. In addition, there is a guest toilet off the main living area.
Along the rear of the villa runs a terrace that drops down to a small walled garden containing a Sala. From the garden, you step down to the private infinity pool and a private gate leads directly onto the beach.
This is a delightful beachfront villa with gorgeous tranquil views and just the right size for a family or couples. Not far from the hustle and bustle of the nearby shops and restaurants, yet tucked away in seclusion, this is a hidden treasure that sparkles with Samui magic.

We celebrated my partners 30th Birthday at Bacaya Villa with two of our friends. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, the experience was top class! The villa itself is beautiful - it suits the Thai setting, is well appointed and very clean. The gardens, pool and outdoor dining area are all immaculate and the rooms spacious and well cared for. The real standout for us though was the service. The Villa Manager, Jit and her assistant Kuntha were extremely gracious and always willing to help us out and make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They went out of their way to look after us and it was very much appreciated! I highly recommend to any future guests to get the chef to cook for one night during your stay and to ask for the meal to be as authentic as possible - we did this and had one of the most delicious and memorable dining experiences! The location of the villa itself is also very handy. you're in the middle of Bophut (Fishermans village and definitely worth going to for the night markets) and Chewang (party area) and taxis would drive by often enough to get you around. I would tell all my friends and family to forgo the five star hotels on the island and stay at Bacaya Villa - not only do you have your own private space with plenty of room for 4 people, but you also receive personalized and exceptional service in a beautiful setting to make the experience unforgettable! My Partner and I stayed 5 nights at the Bacaya Villa. We were so incredibly impressed by the villa and the service. The villa looks identical to the photos (if not better). There was a lady named Jit who looked after us. She was so friendly, kind and helpful. She looked after us so well. It was by far our best holiday to date. We will most definitely be back. Our only disappointment was that we were not there long enough! Next time we will spend more time in Koh Samui.

A luxurious retreat in a beautiful beachfront villa, and a staff that will look after all your needs. From the moment we landed at our villa, the staff welcomed us with fresh juice and fruits, and gave us a tour of the spotless, gorgeous property. Jeet, our property manager-come-maid was very sweet and looked after all our needs. Our chef was the best! We had hired him for all our meals, and he made an amazing variety of dishes for all 12 meals we had with him! It was the most luxurious vacation we as a family had ever taken, not only because of the property, but because of the staff that was there for us from the moment we woke up, until we went to bed at night. What could be done better? Nothing! It was perfect!! And we all really felt that!
