Vietnam's spa and wellness scene is not as extensive as for example Thailand's, but the country has witnessed growth in the spa sector in recent years as the healing properties of ancient Indochina techniques and knowledge have become more widely accepted. The country is also known for its more holistic approach where meditation, yoga and Thai Chi are incorporated into the health regime at a lot of the country's spa and wellness centres.
The Royal Spa in the Imperial Hotel in Hue is a high class spa with seven treatment rooms plus three VIP private rooms with indoor pool and Jacuzzi facilities. The spa uses a combination of the latest techniques and equipment and ancient wellness procedures. Another highly commended spa is the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort and Spa in Nha Trang. The spa spans several thousand square metres and is located in the midst of lush vegetation and blended into the rocks beside a gentle waterfall.
