The incredible choice of beaches and shallow, warm seas that surround the islands of the Philippines make a fun and sun soaked holiday with children easy. The Philippines is also famous for its many theme and amusement parks, some of which rival those in other parts of the world. The Enchanted Kingdom near Manila features some of the best rides with exciting options like Space Shuttle, Jungle Log Jam, Roller Skater, Dodgem, Wheel of Fate and Grand Carousel, to name but a few. At Ocean Park, the main attraction is a 25-metre long tunnel walkway with 220-degree curved acrylic walls to view the underwater spectacle that surrounds visitors. Fantasy World Philippines is a family-oriented entertainment facility, theme amusement and recreation park. It sits on top of a a mountain ridge with panoramic views of Taal Lake and Volcano. For animal lovers, Manila Zoo boasts over 800 animals and 100 plus species. As well as popular residents like the elephants, tigers, lions and hippos, the zoo also houses a number of endemic and indigenous species like the bearcat, long-tailed macaque and crocodile.
