Nearly a fifth of the population in the Land of Smiles is under the age of 14, and activities abound for the younger members of the family. Kayaking and snorkeling are also a great option for families and can be rented along the beach in most resort locations. Day trips can also be arranged for snorkeling around nearby islands. The picturesque setting features limestone cliffs and pristine beaches spread through 40 lush green islands.
